Good kettle for the price
I use this kettle to heat up water for my pour-over coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. The kettle heats up quickly, and seems to come to the correct temperature. It has an auto shut off if you don’t remember to unplug it. I have had no problem cleaning it although I never try to clean the spout like I probably should. I think a straw brush would work to clean the spout. I like the matte black color because it fits in with any decor. The handle is big which is nice so I don’t burn myself when picking up the kettle. I had that problem with my last kettle. I wouldn’t say the kettle is amazing quality, but it is a good value for the money. I have been using this kettle for 3 or 4 months now and have had no issues. If you are looking for a decent kettle at a decent price, I would recommend this model.

Stylish Kitchen Basic
I've been looking for an affordable temperature-control kettle for years. This one was found on sale and it's everything I could have wanted. It's stylish and gets the job done. I've been impressed with how quick it boils on that setting and look forward to try out the lesser temperatures for teas. Simple to clean and descale with water and white vinegar. The only downside is finding the water level a little difficult to read by the handle, but that's really no big deal. This kettle is going to get a workout in my household during the upcoming winter!

Sleek, Fast, and Easy to Use
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Chefman Gooseneck Kettle and I’m genuinely impressed. It boils water super quickly (in about 3 minutes) which makes my morning routine much easier, especially when I’m rushing out the door. The blue LED lights are a nice touch so I can see when it’s actively heating, and it automatically shuts off when it’s done, which gives me peace of mind. The gooseneck spout makes it easy to pour without spilling everywhere, which I love for making pour-over coffee. I also appreciate that it lifts off the base for cordless pouring and has a water-level viewing window so I can see how much water I’m heating. It feels sturdy with its stainless steel design and looks really nice on my counter. The one-touch operation is super convenient, and it’s small enough to fit without taking up much space. Overall, if you’re looking for a fast, stylish, and easy-to-use electric kettle, this Chefman gooseneck is worth it.

Nice little kettle, but...
After using it for a few months, we like this electric kettle overall. It boils water reasonably fast and is not bigger than it needs to be for us. The grippy rubber feet on the base keeps it from easily sliding around on the countertop and the kettle itself is easily lifted off its base with one hand. Blue LEDs indicate when it is heating. Two nit-picks, though:1. After the first day of use, some corrosion or oxidation spots appeared inside on the heated metal bottom . We use reverse osmosis filtered water and this surface looks like it is stainless steel so I don't know why spots would appear. So now, after taking the hot water we need, we pour out any remaining water (for plants) and flip the power on for a few seconds to quickly evaporate the film of water left on the bottom. With that routine, the spots have not gotten worse.2. The plastic mesh across the spout was much too fine. In order to get enough "head" to force water through the mesh, you would have to tip the kettle so far that water would pour out around the lid and make a mess. Not so great design engineering. My solution was to cut away the plastic mesh with a sharp knife.Yes, I would recommend this kettle, assuming that it will keep working well for at least several more years.

Great Kettle - Great Looking - Easy to Use
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose the Chefman Gooseneck electric kettle because it was in the perfect sweet spot for value for money, looks, and tons of great reviews. I use this to help warm up Distilled Water for my using my Neti Pot. It has made my twice daily task much easier. It is easy to use, very quick to heat up and has a gauge so I can tell how much water is in the kettle. I can heat up as little as one cup or go up to four cups. This one is a keeper and very cute. I have no problem keeping this out on my bathroom counter.

Does the job, looks good doing it
If you’re looking for a basic “barista style” gooseneck pour-over kettle, this will do nicely.Pro: Fast. Water for two avg. size mugs (2 cup capacity) with room for milk reaches full boil in about a minute and a half and automatic shutoff at about three minutes and a half. You can begin pouring anytime during that window in my experience. Lined with stainless steel. Black and silver finish blends beautifully with our black granite countertops and the other black appliances. While heating there’s a nice blue LED that lights up on the lever. Nice touch.Con: Outside of kettle is not insulated so it does get hot. You have to train yourself to only use the handle which is durable plastic and does not heat up, but which also feels good solid and balanced in your pouring hand.Totally worth it for the price. Great little kettle that gets the job done fast and looks good doing it.Note: I only use it for boiling water, so cleaning isn’t much of an issue for me. It does have an inside rod along one edge, which does the heating, which would require you to get a behind it with a sponge I guess. (See photo)

Bad Experience
Terrible design. Inside rim edge of pot is razor sharp and in wiping out the pot after use, the inside rim edge cut my finger open, right through the paper towel I was using! Perhaps this pot was defective but if not, the brand needs to exercise better quality control, especially for a household appliance. A child could have been wiping out the inside of this pot to help in the kitchen and have cut themselves. If this inside pot rim issue is the same across the product, then Amazon should not sell this unsafe product.
