We ordered the 10m of 10mm tape kit. It has bright COB LEDs and is easy to cut to length at the marked intervals (25mm).The description claims "continuous linear light instead of individual light beads when the strip is working". This isn't true. Without a diffuser you can still see the individual lit LEDs, but they are tiny and closely spaced and for most purposes this won't matter.The remote control allows you to dim the strip and to alter the colour temperature in steps from warm white to a clinical white 6500K. This is very useful for our application, on a weaving loom, where you need to be able to distinguish yarn colours.The power supply block is a bit chunky, has a proper 3 pin UK plug, is double insulated and is UKCA marked. The control module has a handy on/off button and remembers the last brightness and colour temperature setting.Not interested in the Bluetooth or music functions, so didn't bother setting them up.

For living room furniture.Good price, looks nice.

There are two issues with this product, first the power (brightness) is not as stated, the maximum current that this 10M LED strip draws at 24VDC is 1.51Amps that equates to 36Watts. The second is the colour range is not 2700-6500K only 2700-6000K and therefor do not achieve the cooler white expected. I am debating returning these but there is not a lot of choice for similar products at Amazon at this time.I did return the LEDs to Amazon for a full refund, however following some very useful support from the supplier, I have revised my star rating up by one. The supplier has demonstrated that he can obtain 64Watts from his setup, consequently it is possible that the set that I tried (measured at 36Watts) was not typical. This kit allows you to change the white light from warm white through to crisp/sharp white. It also permits increase/decrease to the strength of brightness.

I have used a few different LED tapes which I have paired with separately purchased power supplies and controllers from specialist suppliers - which soon adds up. This kit though does everything that I need - it’s got a power supply and a controller included, which communicates with either the included “credit card” sized remote control or via Bluetooth to an app. There is the ability to not only dim the brightness according to conditions, but also change the white colour temperate. Finally, as it’s COB it doesnt give a spotting effect and is more than enough to light my garage - see pictures attached - at ~7500 lm for the 10m roll. That’s better than some of the others which are really background mood lights / modern fairy lights.Only slight downside is that I can’t get the app to connect to Google Home. Not a biggie but would have been nice to have connected that through.EDIT - update, I think I’ve discovered why. The controller this kit comes with is Bluetooth-only, not WiFi. Therefore it can only be controlled locally. Wifi is required to connect into voice assistants and aggregator apps like Google Home.

Had two of these now, both failed halfway and quarter way down the strip ***Supplier contacted me and sent two replacements and they are in and working well. Hopefully they last longer this time. As far as fitting the strip etc it’s straightforward and the light quality is good. The music feature doesn’t seem to be quite in time but this doesn’t matter for my application. Not very good if you have a tight bend etc much better for straight runs I would say. I have a ten metre run with a few 90 degree turns and the strip is bright at the start and less so at the end which is noticeable because it is rectangular and the end returns to meet the start, albeit 100mmm short!Can’t fault the supplier very good customer service and just relieved I got replacements free of charge. Will update in a few months if all is ok still!
