Much needed upgrade
Love this unit.After 9months of install I can say it is worth every dollar. Made my 2016 BMW feel newer.Virtually seems like the factory unit which was essential to me, don’t like it looking tacky.I would describe it as Factory + Car play + Touch screen etc.the seller responded to my one question and it worked beautifully. Happy customer here and highly recommend.

Beyond impressed for the price
Bought this for my 15 X5. Watched a few YouTube videos and had it installed in about 30 minutes. Above all the best feature is that it uses the screens WiFi for CarPlay but uses the car’s Bluetooth for audio. This keeps all the steering wheel controls, music display in my hud, and use of the own microphones.

GPS is problematic
Works great except for GPS.When using Android Auto, Google Maps and Waze do not run correctly. You have to wake up the phone every once in a while or the GPS stalls. Same thing goes for Apple Carplay. Same thing goes whether you are running it wirelessly or wired. For some reason the GPS is super wonky. I've heard that this is an issue in these Chinese aftermarket units. I wish there was a fix for this, considering that's the primary use.

ALMOST WORKS PERFECTLY
The fit is perfect! However, the interface feels a bit awkward. Not all of the wheel commands are responsive; only the volume and OK buttons work. It also occasionally fails to connect to my phone.

Gray plastic arround the screen.
This unbelievable. Just can't imagine that someone use gray plastic for BMW F15 ntb unit.

Im so happy with my purchase. It retains all factory features. I was able to put the bmw boot logo. Customer service is amazing. Definitely recommend. I had professionally installed because I didn’t want to mess anything up. I love how I can change my car home button
