Our dogs have always had 24 hour access to the backyard through a door in the wall of our sunroom. We wanted a piece like this to be able to block the sunroom off from our livingroom to help with heating and cooling in our house without blocking the dogs access to the other doggie door. The first one that we bought don’t fit in our sliding glass door frame so we had to take it back to petsmart. I ordered this one and our dachshund and our American staffishirr terrier both use it happily. Our house stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter now. Thank you for this amazing product

Didn't last cheaply made flap fell off after month

the door is a real problem. The filap cracks easily, the screws do potholed up the doors. I ask for a cat door. The flap is so stiff the cats won't use it have tried over more than a week. I had to order a different flap. Air still gets in. The flap is hard on cats backs. Worst product I have ever ordered from Amazon. I really fed up with it but its been installed. Had a handy man put it in which costs more. Hate this product.

My sliding glass door is smaller than standard doors. This is the only insert that I have found that would fit. The clear panels are a flexible thin plastic but keep the cold and wind out sufficiently for my needs. The flap closure is for dogs but my cats can easily push through it.It is not made very well or out of high-quality materials but it is worth the amount paid and does what it is designed for.The instructions aren't great, but it was fairly easy to install.If you are looking for a high end product, this is not it.

Easy to install and seemsvto be well made. The dog door flap is kind of curled on edges and let's air by it but works well.

I bought this because the slider is shorter than most available. But it isn’t best. None of the weather stripping stayed on and it doesn’t easily fit in the frame so it moves back and forth in the track. Will likely try to find better option.

The product is what it says. Simple to use and install. It does not seal well. Not great for use when a furnace or ac is going to be ran.
