I am very pleased with this item. The disks are very easy to light and burn consistently. I go through a ton of them, hundreds and there are no duds. In the past with other brands, I couldn’t even get through a whole roll of them without having a dud.

I feel comfortable saying that because I have literally tried EVERY charcoal out there. I burn incense resins and the like on a daily basis for spiritual reasons, so I go through a lot of charcoals. This brand is superior for several reasons:1. each charcoal lights quickly and evenly2. no heavy sulfur smell or smokiness upon lighting3. for me they have burned as much as an hour4. no unburned pieces left over, no crumbled piecesI cannot recommend these highly enough! Thank you for making such a great product!

I recently got frankincense resin and I needed to find a way to burn it. After researching (I was new to this), I learned about charcoal disks. After reading the reviews, I gave this brand a chance.With this brand being my first use of the disks, I have no others to compare them to. So, I’ll review them based on how they function.I like the size. It fits perfectly in my metal incense burner. The tongs they come with are a must, since it’s MUCH easier to light them while holding them vs the disk sitting on whatever platform you’re using. Being small disks, I highly discourage lighting them without the tongs. Nice addition to the package.Upon lighting them, the disks throw off very small sparks. I recommend lighting it over the sink.The disks also smoke, so much so, I then sit it outside. Over time, if I didn’t bring it outside, the soot would darken my walls, which I don’t want. This isn’t a knock for me as it’s charcoal; I expected it would smoke.The disks burn about 25+ minutes. During one use, I thought it had died down, I placed a resin on it & it was still hot enough to burn it.Overall, I like these. When I need to purchase more, I’ll likely research other brands & possibly try a new brand, simply to have additional experience with another.
