HP 950 951 Printhead (with chip) with for HP OfficeJet Pro 8100 8600 8610 8620 8630 8625 8635 8640 Printer

Works in my HP Officejet 8600. Replacement only took a few minutes. They test the printhead before sending out, so make sure you open it carefully and on some paper towels as residual ink could spill. This is mentioned in the instructions, but probably needs to be somewhere on the outside of the package before you open it. Once replaced, you will need to run the alignment and photo quality tests a few times.

Should have been advised to open with gloves to avoid black ink (?) on hands. Otherwise, product was as advertised: clear instructions, easy to install in printer, easy to install new cartridges, and worked perfectly immediately after installation.

I asked for refund as it stopped working after 31 days. I day after return window. Imagine that. They accepted my return but only want to give me $29 instead of the $129 I paid.

Installation was very easy. But after installation it failed alignment and only printed Magenta. On the HP 8600+ i did all 3 levels of print head cleaning and it started getting better at each level. After the first run through black and cyan were printing. Only yellow was not showing so i went through all 3 levels of the the cleaning process again and then I was seeing very good results. Ran the alignment process again and it succeeded and now seems to be working very well all around.

My HP 8600 15 year old printer stopped working, showing that both a new HP magenta cartridge was "empty" and a new non HP magenta cartridge, and no amount of cleaning or resetting would fix the problem. So I gambled and ordered this replacement printhead. It worked perfectly from the get go. No coaxing or running the "clean printhead" routines were necessary. Highly recommended. There are multiple Youtube videos showing how to replace the printhead. It's very easy.

Product is great, need additional help in how to clean the packing moisture.

Saved my HP OJ Pro 8620 -- again. First time a few years ago I just needed to flush out the printhead. This time, that didn't seem to work. I opted to buy this printhead and new ink because I cannot find a new printer as good as this one. And IT WORKED! Their instructions were great and it was easy to install. Note that I had to shut off and restart the printer after installing the new printhead. Then it automatically did an Align Printhead; it said it failed and the printed page looked faint. I did what the instructions said and did the Tools > Clean Printhead option. I let it run all three levels of cleaning and the final printed page looked great. I also decided to run Tools > Align Printhead; it said successful and the printed page looked perfect. I'm VERY HAPPY!

Pleased with purchase, packed very well and easy to install. Resolved my printing problem and was excellent value.
