ICON 00461 Shower Pan SP100-27" x 24" x 4", Polar White

This shower pan worked out great in our 1973 travel trailer remodel. The original shower was a corner model that was so tiny it couldn't be used. The deciding factor to get this shower pan is that the drain hole had NOT been cut yet. We couldn't make any other pans work out because the drain hole cut was already done, but all were in the wrong place. It is still very small, but long showers are not the usual in a camper anyway.

Sturdy. Fit just right. You DO have to cut your own hole for the drain attachment.

I did not have any issues with the Styrofoam base. Sure If you drop something really heavy that was small or irregular in shape you would probably damage the pan, but I can also say the same thing about my $800 whirlpool tub, and you have to add your own foam under that.The textured bottom makes for sure footing, and the thin lip makes it easy to trim. Sure, I would like to see it twice as thick, but it works. The Foam underneath also provides some insulation so your feet are not cold if you're using in an RV, like I am. Here in Alaska where I am located we many times use foam in outhouses for toliet seats, and it stays warm even at minus 40.For my purpose, this worked out perfectly. I removed one star as the thickness could be improved. It drains well, and is easy to install.

We haven't installed it yet but we do have it and it looks great and is firm and sturdy. As light weight as one can ask for in this sort of thing while still being firm and sturdy.

Decent enough to get the job done, but definitely not the highest quality shower pan available. Pretty flimsy even with reinforcement, especially in the center. Overpriced for what it is.

Unfortunately, I tried to install this way after the return date. I used spray foam on the bottom to adhere it to my wood platform and the whole styrofoam base disintegrated.The shower pan is not pictured in the photo. They literally just glued a piece of angled styrofoam as the base. How is that supposed to hold up for years in an RV? Luckily the pan itself is sturdy and I'm going to get to reuse it, but I would never buy this again and never recommend it to anyone.Shame on you Icon

Was a pain to install but it worked perfect for me...... Seems to be pretty strong..... It is double layered..I cut a new hole in the grey water tank and use the uniseal....
