The magnets all have beautiful, painstakingly rendered art depicting the nature, industries and famous cities the states are known for. All very carefully and cleverly done. If you are reading the reviews about the magnets not being to scale, it's important to realize that 425 Rhode Islands would fit in Alaska. You could not possibly have magnets that are to scale with one another. This is not feasible. They are the geographically correct shape and they have lovely colors. And if you have read the review about Hawaii being missing - this was not the case for me. Hawaii is here. The magnets are so carefully packed by the US Manufacturer (very important to us - why pay someone in China to make our states?) that I'm certain a magnet could be tucked into a paper fold in the packaging and be thrown out. Everything about these magnets is positive - quality, artistry, strength, thoughtful packaging. You will love these in your home. We bought them for the fridge and our camper van. We move the state magnet from the fridge to the camper van each time we visit a new state. Children will learn from them and they will be a conversation piece wherever you place them.

Nice material not "cheap" looking. The color and quality of the magnets are great. The magnets stick very well and there is no "slide" effect to one side or the other. My only problem is I thought they interlocked well to form the borders, but the sizing/cut does not fit into the joining states. It would have been great if you can line them up seamlessly. Overall, good product!

It's very good. I'm trying to visit every state and I'm only at 15 but I wanted to see what it look like on a magnet jorney when I'm done. I have a few from places I visted but this is definitely cheaper than buying all at a gift shop in the long run. They usually cost $5 at a gift shop so all 50 states would be about $250. Magnets are soft and obvious not scaled correctly. I like it has the nickname for each state too. Can't put DC on the map without shifting a lot of pieces but it's technically not a state so I put it to the side anyway lol. There was some reviews of people saying they didn't receive all 50 states so look out for that if you buy this item. All in all I recommend buying it.

Every time we hit a new state I would look for a magnet, and that was always the 1 state that was missing. Just do yourself a favor and buy them all, and put them up as you hit that state. It saves time and energy going to every tourist shop looking for ones that carry the state magnets. Best purchase ever!

Tried to buy the 66 piece all In one set but kept getting the wrong product, so I bought these magnets in addition to the Canada set and the State Map Magnet Collector's Metal Board for my 5 year old grandson. He absolutely loves them.I only have small complaints about them.1. The Alaska broke due to the location of the state capital star, had it been placed just above the peninsula, it wouldn’t have made the peninsula weak and breakable. We glued it I am not sure it will hold forever.2. The say they are meant to go with the board yet some of the magnets are too big for the designated space and others while appropriately proportional to the others are too small for the board3. I wish they would have included the Great LakesOverall they are a really good set

We collect these one by one as we travel. Some of ours have gone missing over the years, so I thought I'd buy a complete set and start all over again, assuming a complete set would fit together nicely. Started putting it together....frustrating how *tiny* Texas and California are! And, other states that should be small are HUGE. Not good whatsoever for creating a "map" if that's what you're going for. Will be sending back, and we'll just buy a bigger Texas and California from another company.
