Very effective product.
I use this for my Buttercream and it really works very while to achieve the brightest white. It doesn't effect the flavour of the Buttercream at all. I have purchased Superwhite previously and will continue to do so. Brilliant product!

Perfect 😁
I’ve been looking for a white food colouring to take the yellow out of my buttercream and cake mix. This did the job perfectly. It’s a power so I mixed 1tsp of it, with the milk when I made the buttercream. I mixed 1tsp of power with with 15ml of water for cake mix. The yellow has completely gone and it’s a great base colour, if you are added bright colors.

A lot in the pot not sure how much it affects the colour
The pot does come almost full to the brim with colour which is good. It is also powdered so it shouldn't affect the texture of your buttericing (if thats what you're using it for) too much unlike liquids and gels which can split the mixture. Other than this I couldn't tell you how much it affects the actual colour of your icing. I needed it for a wedding cake and had made a substantial amount of buttercream which I had first whipped to death to get as light as possible, I had also used a bit of violet gel colour to counteract any remaining yellow from the butter. Finally I used this powder (all of it) to get it that bit whiter. I think you need all these steps to get a nice white icing as the powder on its own would not be enough.

Buttercream
Great for making buttercream lighter and does not affect the taste. Great value too

Ok product
Never used a whitening product before but wanted a white/pale buttercream icing. Had to use 2 table spoons to get it to go lighter and there was an aftertaste to the buttercream. Not too bad but you knew something was in it. I then used it in a white chocolate ganache 1 teaspoon and it was great. Lovely pale ganache and only a very slight after taste

It works
Whitened a batch with this (no purple colouring) and the photo does the talking. Didn't use much at all but it was a very small batch of icing.Mixed with a tiny amount of water first. No taste/texture issues.

Definitely buy again!
This was an emergency buy as the one I'd normally get was out of stock. I'd definitely buy this again. I was concerned after reading the reviews and wasn't sure how it would turn out but really worked and very pleased with how my buttercream turned out. It's a power you mix with a few drops of water. I ended up using about half the tub as I had quite alot of buttercream to colour. Would definitely recommend buying this.
